Write Up:
On a swelteringly hot day, we toiled up to the west end of Yam, delighted to find no one else either on our route, or on any of the others in the area. The climb went well, and we enjoyed lunch in a nice breeze at the top at 1.30pm. From there it was down the scree to the car and a cooling pond on the 1A.
