Itinerary:
The event will be held upstairs at CAOC 1111 Memorial Dr NW. Note: The parking lot at the CAOC building is being used during the day by a construction company. Ignore the sign stating no parking and enter the lot. Don't pay for parking it's free in the CAOC lot though limited to 15 cars. If there is no room in the parking lot at CAOC there is a lot on the north side of Memorial Ave. Trip Coordinators Kieth Sanford, Dana Engler and Alan Fortune will be the presenters for the evening.

Notes:
A series of progressive events and trips intended to introduce a person to backcountry skiing. The series starts with an evening session in Calgary where the basics of what's involved and required are introduced. Then there is a series of trips starting with easy trips and moving up to intermediate trips. Also recommended for people getting into backcountry skiing are the recreational avalanche courses offered through the club.
